CDM Technology supports one of the top 2 Electric Vehicle companies and has an immediate opportunity for technicians looking to enter the Electric Vehicle industry. The manufacturer has been rapidly expanding their Service Centers and has an opening in Richmond. They're looking for essential Lube/Tire Tech or Service Tech experience, as they've got an excellent training program. They're only interested in professionals looking to take advantage of their training program and the growth potential. Hours are Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM

We are looking to fill this role quickly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles using a documented process, checklist, and guidelines.
• Document results (pass/fail) of pre-delivery inspections and communicate results to team members/supervisor.
• Follow company repair procedures efficiently without compromising quality and safety. Perform or assist with assigned diagnosis, repairs, installations, and vehicle inspections.
• Assist and support vehicle repairs.
• Conduct road tests on vehicles to ensure the quality of the repair.
• Perform necessary parts operations such as parts ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory, if applicable
• Stay up to date with technical skills and required training.
• Support campaigns and containment initiatives
• Maintain and process accurate expense reporting as needed.
• Establish peer relationships and work under the mentorship of a senior technician.
• Maintain high-quality work and efficiency while working with little supervision.
• Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing, dynamic environment
• Ability to perform duties and communicate with a high level of professionalism in a customer-facing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No sponsorship provided
• One year of experience working in an automotive repair shop is preferred.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Must be available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, including weekends and holidays, according to business needs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Experience using a work order management system, including repair documentation preferred.
• Exhibits patience and eagerness to learn.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, along with attention to detail
• Physical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks (sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting to 50 lbs.)
