```Duties:```
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and vehicle maintenance
```Skills:```
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles
- Experience with specialized equipment (e.g., tanker)
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Excellent navigation skills and the ability to read maps or use GPS systems
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and safe transportation of goods
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road
- Commercial driving experience with a clean driving record
Note: A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker and Hazmat endorsements is required for this position.
