- Ensure the effective operation of the fuel facility by performing or assisting subordinates with operational duties.
- Issues written oral instructions.
- Assure adherence to safety procedures.
- Recommends manpower requirements.
- Maintains harmony among workers and consults with the HR Representative in resolving employee

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervise employee. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities including planning, assigning and directing work, employee recognition and addressing issues.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as loss/gain, inventories, inches/feet to gallons/barrels conversions, proportions, percentages, weight, length, diameters, radius, circumferences, flow rates and volumes in standard and metric. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver License with good driving history. Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance. Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; Talk or hear; and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Strenuous physical exertion is required to perform certain tasks such as tank gauging and sampling storage tanks. Tanks are gauged by climbing stairways to the top of the tanks (approximately 75 stairs) which are 50 feet high and 100 feet in diameter. The individual must also be able to open and close large valves on product receiving and delivering pipelines quickly. Opening and closing these large valves involves twisting and pulling motion and sometimes requires considerable physical exertion. Other tasks include digging and shoveling. May also engage in debris removal, mowing and weed eating the facility grass which involves lifting, sweating bending and stooping.
