Job Description Summary
The department offers an undergraduate and graduate curriculum in four areas: Corrections, Law, Juvenile Justice, and Policing. The department seeks a candidate with an emphasis on corrections and the ability to teach in one or more of the other subject areas.
Required Education
Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related fields. We will consider applicants who are ABD who anticipate completion within six months of the start date.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Skilled in the use of Information Technology; teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level in an urban educational environment.

Special Requirements
The department emphasizes scholarly work focused on human rights, restorative justice, social policy, and women's rights. We seek a candidate with evidence of scholarly work in one or more of these areas.
