At Home Companions is seeking a full-time NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team in Hackensack, New Jersey. This position is a full-time hourly healthcare/medical job and is perfect for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care to our clients. The CHHA will be responsible for assisting the client with daily activities and maintaining their comfort and well-being in the comfort of their homes. This is an individual contributor role, and the CHHA will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Compensation & Benefits:
The CHHA will receive a competitive hourly wage of $18 per hour, paid biweekly, for their services.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare meals and help with feeding if necessary
- Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed by RN
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Drive and escort the client to appointments and assit with errands
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to RN
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Requirements:
- Active NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
- Prior experience working as a CHHA preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
