Location Description
Michael Foods, Inc. located in Yuma, Arizona nestled between Phoenix and San Diego. Yuma features extraordinary outdoor activities from tubing on the Colorado River to off-roading at the Buttercup Sand Dunes. Our location produces hard boiled eggs for a vast number of both retail and food service customers.

Your Responsibilities: As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will:

• Lead a dedicated team, including a Quality Lead, 7 Quality Technicians.
• Champion a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Manage the Quality Department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns, showcasing your problem-solving skills.
• Conduct plant food safety inspections and audits to uphold the highest standards.
• Develop and deliver training programs on GMP, HACCP, and other relevant topics.
• Collaborate with corporate contacts, suppliers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Enforce company policies consistently and fairly, contributing to a positive work culture.
• Lead the development and implementation of food safety fundamentals and the Company's Food Safety Plan.

Qualifications
Your Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with:

• An associate degree or a two-year technical certificate in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and supervise teams.
• Proficiency in basic computer functions, including spreadsheets, word processing, and email.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring product quality.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required.
