The Financial Services team designs and builds payment and internal operation experience across Tesla to improve the financial products and systems.
We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join our growing team and help deliver experiences to improve growth. You will be challenged to build applications quickly but thoughtfully, balancing speed to market with longevity and scalability, all in the name of an extraordinary customer experience.
- Build awesome web experiences using React.js and support them in productd
- Plan and accommodate flexibility and customizations for all mediums, screen sizes and device types
- Review and respond to code reviews while adding test coverage for your code
- Adapt to fast changing business conditions and priorities
- Partner with product managers, designers, QA engineers and release engineers as your application moves from development to production
- For this position, we are considering candidates at all levels of experience building web and/or mobile experiences or who possess other evidence of exceptional ability
- Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Solid communication skills
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as TypeScript, Webpack, NPM, Node, Express, Jest, React Testing Library, Docker, etc.
- Knowledge of modern web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
