Doc Martin's / Adobe Bar / Historic Taos Inn in Taos, NM is looking for servers/waitstaffs to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.
Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
SERVER
We are currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our service team. We are searching for attentive, friendly, energetic, highly-motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Server will work with other staff members to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service and maintain excellent communication with the kitchen team. The Server is knowledgeable about menu items, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service. Full and part-time opportunities available. Training will begin immediately.
Responsibilities:

- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
- Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
- Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
- Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
- Record transactions in the LightSpeed POS system correctly and timely
- Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
- Close Guest checks within a timely manner
- Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
