We are interested in adding an exceptional person to our medical Podiatry practice to join our team at providing care and customer service to our patients. The job duties include but are not limited to Assisting the Front Office, answering telephones, insurance verifications, greeting patients, scheduling and more. Experience preferred but not necessary. Must be reliable and a team player, responsible, self motivating, has reliable transportation and has the ability to work independently. Medical Front Office experience is a plus but not necessary.
Knowledge of EMR and Practice Management.
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner.
Screen phone calls, arrange appointments, maintain medical records.
Perform insurance verifications.
Copy medical information, following proper procedures.
Take clear and concise phone messages.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Collect co-pays and deductibles, inquire on previous balances.
Maintain order, neat and tidy at all times. Excellent position for a Medical Assistant, Front office assistant, medical biller.
Medical assistant will assist the Doctor for specific procedures and duties.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
