A rare opening at an office where the core team has remained together for over 20 years. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Office - Financial Coordinator. The Financial Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a key role in our organization, as the Coordinator often serves as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors.
Primary Duties:
- Take and post payments from patients and insurance companies
- Maintain and regularly report on the accounts receivable for the practice
- Intelligibly explain the financial aspect of a treatment plan to a patient
Secondary duties (teammate to the Scheduling Coordinator):
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle it with utmost professionalism
Experience:
- Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role is an advantage
- Proficiency with Dental practice software is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices
