We are seeking an experienced Front Office/Insurance Verification Specialist to join our office.
```Responsibilities:```
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility through various methods, including online portals and phone calls
- Review and interpret insurance policies and benefits to determine coverage levels and limitations
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and Insurance companies to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to insurance coverage
- Obtain pre-authorizations and referrals as necessary for medical procedures or treatments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Insurance Verifications and authorizations
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement for services rendered
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
```Experience:```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical office or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiology terminology, coding (ICD-10), and managed care processes
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Insurance Verification software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
