Front Office Administrator

Integrative Health and Hormone Clinic is seeking a Front Office Administrator for immediate hire. This opportunity can be either full-time or part-time and is located in Hiawatha, IA.

IHHC is looking for someone who loves to work hard, enjoys a challenge, loves learning, and approaches each day with enthusiasm, joy, and a smile. This role will communicate and interact with a small team of a nurses, Front Office staff, and nurse practitioners.

Duties:

• Answer incoming and outgoing calls
• Take detailed messages from patients with questions regarding their healthcare
• Schedule patient appointments
• Check patients in and out collecting copays
• Prepare documents as needed
• Fax health records as needed and manage incoming correspondence
• Order products, entering inventory on a regular basis
• Assist other team members as needed
• Other projects as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

• Ability to handle confidential patient information
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for and interest in personal health and care.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in clinic setting

Additional beneficial experience:

• QuickBooks Pro usage
• Microsoft Office (Word, excel, publisher, outlook)
