Server/Host/BusserDuties:
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests by taking orders, making recommendations when appropriate, processing payments, and serving food or beverages to customers at the counter or table. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation including preparing beverages and arranging food items.
Responsibilities:
-Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers.
-Receive and process guest payments.
-Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, or teas.
-Take guest orders and convey them to other employees for preparation.
-Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
-Describe menu items to guest or suggest products that might appeal to them.
-Clean service or seating areas, performing cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
-Balance receipts and payments in cash registers.
-Wrap menu item such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for serving or for takeout.
-Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
-Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
-Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
-Fulfill any additional duties required of the restaurant and willing to cross train.
If 18 and older:
-Present alcohol safety certificate within 2 weeks of employment
-Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests seated at the bar.
-Prepare and serve bar drinks consistent with the restaurant’s standard drink recipes.
Minimum Qualifications:
-The Sassy Biscuit Co. maintains a drug free environment.
-Able to communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnel.
-Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
-Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
