We are looking for an experienced Industrial Front Loader to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona! - As a Front-End Loader Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of a Front-End Loader to load and unload containers, trailers and rail cars; and lift and move scrap metal and other materials around the recycling yard.
- Operate a Loader to move, load and unload scrap metal and debris in preparation for processing or shipping.
- Determine load weights and verify against lifting capacities to prevent overloads and dangerous situations.
- Drain and remove fluids and gases from autos, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.
- Direct truck drivers into proper position for loading and unloading scrap metal or other materials.
Qualifications:
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen (marijuana is not excluded)
- Must have 1 year of Front - End Loader experience
- Experience working safely in a heavy industrial setting.
- Must be comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and exposure to the elements.
- Able to conduct and complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks and checklists.
- Eager to learn the proper operation and diagnostic capabilities of state-of-the-art equipment.
- Able to work independently and stay focused and on-task.
- Able to prioritize urgency based on production requirements.
