Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Front-End Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in front-end technologies, particularly in Angular, Vue, or React, and some backend exposure to PHP. This role will focus on developing and optimizing user-facing features, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using Angular, Vue, or React.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into high-quality code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Maintain and improve the website.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team and personal learning.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in front-end development.
- Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting in PHP as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and at least one of the following: Angular, Vue, or React.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools.
- Basic knowledge of PHP and laravel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with a back-end language, specifically PHP, is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO principles.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
