We are looking for a UX Front-End Developer to support our Navy customer in Crane, Indiana
Remote delivery has been authorized for this role.
Duties:
- Creates, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
- Works individually or as part of a team
- Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
- Resolves software problem reports
- Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
- Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in computer design, software development or computer networks
- Understanding of various web technologies and languages (such as Markup Languages, CSS, Javascript, Javascript Frameworks, etc.) for designing and building user interface and other user-facing functionality.
- Excellent Problem Solving/Judgment and Decision Making.
- Experience or understanding of software applications design tools and languages.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of design for software applications running on multiple platform types.
Desired Education:
- Bachelor’s level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance with potential for TS.) Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
