We’re seeking an experienced Front-End Web Developer who will be part of a highly skilled, dedicated team focused on delivering challenging and high value projects.
You will join a team building enterprise-scale applications using React and Typescript. While we’ve built the foundational pieces, your duties will involve:
· Building new application UI using existing base components
· Implementing business logic, reading/writing to API endpoints
· Logically connecting grids, context menus, modals, forms, etc.
· Creating or modifying extremely minimal API endpoints in Java
· Participating in meetings to understand business logic and UI requirements
· Potentially working on base components/global efforts
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of TypeScript, React, and JavaScript experience
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
*****MUST be a US citizen able to obtain a US Government Security Clearance*****
- 5+ years of TypeScript experience (after college) with strong understanding of interfaces, unions, utilities, inference, type narrowing/guarding, etc.
- 5+ years of advanced React experience
- 5+ years of JavaScript experience
- Ability to work in VSCode
- Experience with CSS and a basic familiarity of grid and flex
- Confidence with command-line git
- Comfortable with the GitHub PR process – code reviews, rebasing, squashing
- Experience with/willingness to learn libraries like react-query, zustand, zod, lodash/ramda
- Experience with/willingness to learn tools like Storybook, Playwright, and Vitest
- Effectively communicating in daily meetings and Teams discussions
- Problem solving – debugging issues, researching solutions, etc.
- Accurately estimate task duration and meet schedules
- Escalate project issues to appropriate leadership
