Front Desk/MA in Medical Practice

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Register patients ensuring all necessary information is obtained
-Update email, phone #, and address
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate information or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Assist with check-in and check-out processes, including handling payments
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the reception area
- Handle complaints or issues with tact and professionalism, escalating to management when necessary
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and organizing documents
- Assist with order entry and inventory management as needed
-Patient data entry, creating new charts
-Collecting payments for visits
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a front desk agent or in a similar customer service role is required.
-Medical experience with electronic health record preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with families and team members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Proficient in using computer software , word processing, and data entry
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Knowledge of medical office procedures or experience as a medical receptionist is necessary

Salary: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift Monday-Friday

Experience:
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
