Front Desk Security Counselors - Staten Island

STATEN ISLANDFRONT DESK SECURITY COUNSELORS

Beacon of Hope (BOH), a Division of Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS), is seeking a Front Desk Security Counselor to work the 12 AM – 8 AM shift in a 24-hour congregate setting in Staten Island.

Front Desk Security Counselors provide support services to clients living with Serious Mental Illness and in various stages of recovery.  The Front Desk Security Counselor’s duties include reception, security, crisis intervention and documenting events occurring in the building in accordance with Office of Mental Health regulations for Licensed Housing as well as CCCS and BOH Policies and Procedures.

Salary is $21.50 an hour to $23.00 an hour ($44,720 - $47,840 annually. Pro-rated on time actually worked during the year.) Salary is commensurate with educational attainment.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of Case Management experience, preferably with SMI population
