Front Desk Manager

Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel is accepting applications for a organized individual with fantastic communications skills to lead our team as Front Desk Manager!

The Front Desk Manager coordinates the day–to–day operations of our hotel Front Desk so we can ensure an outstanding experience for our guests.

Daily activities of the Front Desk Manager include tasks such as organizing and leading the team; collaborating with the housekeeping, engineering and other departments; responding to guest requests and issues in a timely manner; maintaining processes to control cost and build revenue; training and coaching the team, etc.

To be a successful Front Desk Manager, one must have a passion for promoting an enjoyable experience to exceed our guests expectations, must be friendly and professional at all times, must possess excellent oral and written communication and computer skills, must focus on attention to detail, and must be able to multi-task, handle busy situations with grace, and get along well with associates and managers while acting in a supervisory role.

Qualifications for a Front Desk Manager also include the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends; the ability to walk/stand for up to 5 hours at a time and to lift/move up to 30 lbs.

Previous Hotel Front Desk Management or Supervisory experience in a similar role is required.
