This is a seasonal position that starts mid-April and ends mid-October. Candidates must be 18+ and hold a valid driver license.
INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
Our Front Desk Manager responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. Will make campstore orders and work within budget parameters. Will perform physical inventories and ensure quantities in computer system are up-to-date and correct. Completes scheduling, team training, and ensures smooth operations.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

- Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service.
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate offices
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Provide information about our campground
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Operate office equipment, such as scanners, printers, etc.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Operate computer reservation system
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Provide local information on restaurants, special sites, activities, etc.
- Effectively operate POS system to correctly assign payments for tickets and merchandise, including accepting payments and providing accurate change.
- Calculate sales discount to determine the price.
- Maintaining upkeep and cleanliness of the café by sweeping floors and wiping counters.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provides regular and reliable attendance
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The Front Desk Manager will report to the General Manager.
WHAT YOU BRING
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent
- Leadership experience
- Must work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Must be able to effectively use computers and technologies, including answering the phones, using computers, copiers, fax machines, as well as credit card or cash machines
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and complaint resolution skills
- Excellent attendance
