Role Overview
The Front Desk Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of our Front Desk & reception areas at each of our 6 locations. This position’s key contributions will be building training materials, implementing best practices, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Essential Functions
- Coordinate & manage core front office processes such as, but not limited to:
- Routine patient check in/check out
- Checking eligibility, verifying insurance, collection copays, coinsurance, balances & deductibles
- Cash collection and payment posting
- Monitoring & managing patient calls, appointment scheduling & walk-ins
- Reviewing provider’s daily schedules for any obvious issues or opportunities
- Working closely with the practice administrator to support practice tasks and initiatives, as well as ensure excellent communication up, laterally and down the organizational chain at all times.
- Assist with interviews, conduct orientation and training for new employees.
- Assist with performance management, coaching, improvement, mentoring and when necessary offboarding procedures.
- Provide time and space for routine education & training to ensure consistent processes across all practices.
- Provide time and space for routine individual & staff meetings to build a cohesive team.
- Manage staffing schedules, overtime, call offs, late arrivals & vacations.
- Knowledge of retail products & services, or a willingness to learn.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree- equivalent work experience considered!
- Ability to travel as needed (Edina, Burnsville, Orono, Sartell, Eagan & Maplewood)
- Healthcare background required.
- Customer service excellence, targeted certifications & training highly appreciated!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technologically confident
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
