Lakewood Park Tennis Center is a neighborhood tennis facility. With eight outdoor hard courts and tennis hut, we host tournaments, adult and junior classes, ball machine and court reservations, a pro shop, and stringing services. We aim to create a fun and friendly tennis experience while growing the game.

Position Summary

The Front Desk Associate assists the General Manager and Team Managers in maintaining the day-to-day operations. They schedule court time, programs, and lessons. They help with in pro shop sales and educate customers on programs, equipment, and facility rules. While providing exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business. 10 - 15 hours available, more hours available with the ability to coach junior classes. This is a seasonal position. Starting as soon as possible, usually ending October 31st.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets schedules lessons and court time and assists members in a friendly and professional manner
• Explains all Tennis programs, services, and equipment to members and assists them with determining their individual needs
• Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with customers
• Assists in ensuring all tennis facilities and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition
• Ensures all daily billing is completed accurately and efficiently and reconciles the cash register at the end of a shift
• Ensures the work area is neat, orderly, and well-stocked

Preferred Experience

• Computer experience
• 1 year of customer service experience
• 1 year of Midbody Experience
• General knowledge of tennis equipment
• Previous coaching experience

Pay

Starting wage is $15/hr or $17/hr with Seasonal Work Agreement.
