Front Desk Agent

The Caliente Tropics Hotel is a 92 room Polynesian themed boutique hotel located one mile from downtown Palm Springs. Here we like to think that we are an oasis in the desert with a large pool, two restaurants and two bars with one being a palm springs favorite, The Reef Tiki Bar. We host a small but dedicated team of 20 employees who strive to provide quality service. We are looking to hire a new Front Desk Agent whose responsibilities include:

• Check in customers using computer programs and equipment and provide guests with directions to their room
• Inform customers of all on-site amenities and any relevant information that is needed to use them
• Handle and resolve guest complaints
• Invoice and bill guests for their stay and services used
• Communicate with guests to better understand their individual needs to provide them with the best service possible
• Communicate with maintenance and housekeeping staff regarding room issues
• Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely fashion

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
