Marcus Lewis Tennis Center is looking for a friendly and positive person to be in charge of operating the Front Desk at our 10 Granite Road, Acton, MA location on weekends (see specific shifts available below). You will be the first point of contact for everyone who enters our facility.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet members and prospective members
- Answer phones
- Respond to general email
- Learn and understand our software to assist with day-to-day operations (checking members into the club, scheduling courts, answering membership inquiries, processing payments and pro shop sales, etc.)
- Close the facility
- Accept deliveries
- Pro Shop stocking and inventory
- Monitor courts
- Assist all staff with keeping the facility clean and tidy
- Assist with collection of payments due
- Support our tennis pros and general manager
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Reception/Office experience
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Punctual, reliable, and able to keep to a regular schedule
- Professional and respectful to staff and members
- Team-oriented. We all help each other out!
- General computer skills and knowledge (word, excel, google sheets, gmail)
