Sales Clerk / Front Counter Clerk

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Mandatory firearms knowledge.
• Again, must have at least 5 years of knowledge of firearms.
• Safe handling of firearms.
• Knowledge of the 4473/3310 essential. By written form and computer.
• Overall professionalism while dealing with firearms
• Computer knowledge essential
• Knowledge of NICS and NHSP Gunline.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist customers with purchasing decisions and load outs
• Give consistent quality customer service ensuring a successful shopping experience
• Merchandise, stock, and assemble merchandise
• Be familiar with all advertised items and their locations
• Greet all customers who are within ten feet of you
• Practice sound safety knowledge & best practices for materials handling
• Maintain a clean and organized department – including recovery

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mandatory firearms knowledge.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• May be required to perform other duties
• Must be trustworthy
• Tardiness will not be tolerated

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:

• General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer
• Barcode scanner, price gun and other retail equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Good visual acuity and ability to communicate
• Ability to repetitively lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds; ability to stand and/or walk for long periods

There will be a 120 day probationary/training period. Pay will scale up or down with experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
