Location: Remote (with travel to client sites and occasional meetings at the Linden, NJ location)
Job Overview: Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Sales Specialist to join their team. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in maximizing existing business and developing new opportunities through strategic sales, product marketing, and exceptional customer support. Responsibilities:
- Maximize existing business through strategic sales, product marketing, and outstanding customer support.
- Utilize expertise in logistics processes, systems, and solutions.
- Identify and properly qualify sales opportunities and leads.
- Set and achieve sales targets, demonstrating goal orientation, self-discipline, and self-motivation.
- Maintain close communication with operations and customer operations to ensure a uniform understanding of customer expectations.
- Ensure that services consistently meet customer needs.
- Prepare and present accurate pricing to potential customers.
- Collaborate with sales and operational staff to foster a team-selling environment.
- Perform additional duties as required and assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related work experience.
- 3-5 years of Freight Forwarding Sales experience with a proven history of quota overachievement.
- Strategic sales capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, including a professional demeanor and excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and present accurate pricing to potential customers.
- Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services, and operations offered by the company.
- Work cooperatively with other sales and operational staff to support a team-selling environment.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel may be required.
- Salary: Up to $150,000

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
