ESSENTIALPOSITIONFUNCTIONS:
1. Provides plant maintenance to include planting, nutrient regulation, computer monitoring of all facets of the garden.
2. Promotes proper safety procedures associated with the garden and greenhouse equipment.
3. Assists with the storage lab equipment.
4. Maintains watering cycles as needed; cleaning and disinfecting the waterers as needed.
5. Maintains the general appearance of the garden spaces.
6. Tracks progress details of planting, cultivating and harvesting duties.
7. Works with Continuing Education staff to maintain the Vertical Hydroponic Garden.
8. Recommends needed garden supplies.
9. Alerts department staff of day-to-day needs and situations.
10. Attend work activities or programs as scheduled or assigned.

1. Knowledge of project management and program development; tracking details and progress.
2. Strong time management skills; organizing time for optimum efficacy with deadlines and collaboration among staff.

6. Ability to recognize and work with various types of lab equipment associated with a Vertical Hydroponic Garden.
