As our Freelance Hand-Lettering Artist, you will work remotely and collaborate with our design team to craft hand-lettered designs that embody the modern, minimalist aesthetic our brand is known for. Your innovative and visually compelling artwork will be featured across our primary product lines of t-shirts, hats, and accessories, shaping the visual identity of our brand and connecting with our trend-conscious audience.
Responsibilities:
- Work in tandem with the design team to create hand-lettered designs that reflect a modern, minimalist aesthetic, aligning with the brand's ethos and market positioning.
- Produce original, eye-catching hand-lettered artwork suitable for our main product lines: t-shirts, hats, and accessories.
- Utilize feedback to refine designs, ensuring the final products adhere to our brand standards and appeal to our target demographic.
- Keep abreast of trends in typography, fashion, and design to maintain the brand's relevance and innovative edge.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in Hand-Lettering or a related field, supported by a portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating modern and minimalist designs.
- Expertise in drawing and typography, capable of producing a diverse range of lettering styles.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A strong grasp of design fundamentals, including composition, color theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to deliver projects on time.
- A passion for fashion and an interest in the lifestyle and aesthetic of brands like Urban Outfitters, PacSun, and Nordstrom.
