We are seeking a self-directed and experienced FP&A Managerto oversee all day-to-day revenue forecasting, revenue recognition, project accounting, pricing, billing, and other FP&A activities. This is a hands-on position reporting to the Controller. This high-profile opportunity is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-moving, growing workplace, has strong leadership skills, is proficient in financial analysis, pricing, reporting and project accounting in a service organization, and is experienced in working closely with senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and take responsibility for the revenue forecasting and revenue recognition processes, including working across teams and systems to gather, roll-up, and analyze the most up to date sales and delivery information.
- Manage and oversee pricing for projects and work to increase gross profit results through analysis and communication with cross functional teams.
- Monitor and forecast the financial performance of clients and projects and call out risks and challenges before they become critical.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing reporting to ensure efficient monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead and prepare annual operating plans and periodic forecasts as needed.
- Lead and Direct outsourced FP&A team and Direct Reports
- Participate and support the development of the company’s strategic and financial plans.
- Drive forecasting and billing process improvements though the department and the company.
- Assist with annual audits including Financial, Tax, and 401K.
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
- MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
- Experience managing an FP&A function in a service business. Ideally, you will have 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with ERP systems required, prior experience with NetSuite highly preferred.
- Prior Tableau experience is highly preferred.
- Previous experience managing individual contributors required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Expert MS Excel skills
- Advanced analytical and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and ask “what if” to improve processes and automate functions.
