The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst will assist with development of forecast and budgets, financial modeling, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis. This position will provide strategic financial support including preparing monthly executive-level financial presentations, financial models to support ongoing forecast process, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis, and other requested projects. This position reports to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and requires excellent organization and communication skills. Acute attention to detail, ability to be a self-starter, and deadline management are essential functions of the position.
What you'll do:
  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for various departments on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Partner with executive team members to support the development and analysis of staffing and spending plans and analyzing variances with actual results
  • Develop and maintain data-driven models to make recommendations on best practices, highlight trends, and improve forecast accuracy
  • Prepare and analyze financial management presentations for the Board of Directors, Senior Management Team, and other members of the Finance organization
  • Maintain key metrics to help provide insights to business performance including operational efficiencies and product investments
  • Partner with Accounting to support the month-end close process
  • Provide guidance to other departments and assist with ad-hoc projects
    reporting and analysis
  • Other duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA designation would be a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint or Google Slides skills
  • 2+ years' experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Experience in software products and SaaS a plus
Preferred Skills Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communications, including exposure to
    leadership presentations
  • Strong analytical experience, with expertise in financial modeling
  • Experience building financial reporting decks for various audiences (Board of Directors, Exec Team, etc.)
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure and deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive approach, forward thinking
  • Self-Starter, able to identify problem areas and brainstorm and present recommended solutions
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning and Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
Where you'll work:
Our headquarters is located in St. Louis (Chesterfield area) and employees will be eligible for our hybrid work model (three days in office with the option to work remotely for the remaining two).
