About The Role:

In your pivotal role as a Founding Platform Engineer, you will be collaborating closely with our visionary co-founders. Your primary mission will be to architect and construct the backbone of our Internet-scale mesh network and develop the foundational abstractions for our decentralized services.

We are seeking individuals who:

• Possess a passion for building innovative computer systems.

• Have robust software engineering skills, with a proven track record of independently driving or leading projects.

• Bring experience in building distributed/p2p systems.

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of computer networks, including Internet routing and protocols like TCP, UDP, and HTTP.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Rust, as it forms the core of our tech stack.

• Experience in developing systems that are both highly concurrent and scalable.

• Knowledge in foundational elements of decentralized systems, such as p2p networks, consensus protocols, cryptography, blockchain, smart contracts, etc.
