About Our Client:
Our client is an AI Startup, reshaping storytelling and personal development for startup founders.
Role:
- Work directly with our founders, industry experts, and the tech lead.
- Apply your full-Stack Engineering skills to build world-class software products.
- Contribute to the integration of various APIs and develop advanced systems.
- Assist with ensuring a deep commitment to tech ethics, including data privacy, fairness, and security.
- Support the scaling of our infrastructure securely and efficiently.
- Manage computational resources and ensure our product complies with legal standards.
- Use your deep curiosity for storytelling, self-actualization, and personal growth to contribute to something groundbreaking.
- Play a key role in building our engineering organization and tackling challenging engineering problems.
What you have:
- Demonstrated ability building world-class software products.
- Examples: enterprise products with slick UX (Brex, Mercury, Stripe), world-class consumer software products (Airbnb, Figma, Notion).
- Experience with AI or large language models.
- 5+ years total experience in product-focused full-Stack Engineering.
- Google level would be L5-L6: Senior or Staff.
- Your focus can be either frontend or backend heavy - but some generality and ability to move across the stack is required.
- Experience with UI/UX and product design is very helpful, and required for those with a frontend focus.
Bonus Points:
- Early engineer at a hyper-growth startup.
- Experience at world class product organizations (Notion, Figma).
Location: We're a remote first company but are looking for these first hires to be in the Bay Area so we can connect in-person as needed to collaborate. This is a pretty fluid process so it could be anywhere form once a week to once a month.
Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000 base.
