We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Foundation Assistant to provide assistance, organization, and support for the Foundation Director and Manager as needed. May work on assignments that are sensitive and confidential in nature.

Schedule: 8am to 4:30pm - Monday - Friday
What you'll be doing:
- Provides administrative support to the Foundation Director and Manager, including with RVMF Board meetings and business. Maintain office calendar, assist in preparation of letters, reports, and handles work in the absence of the Foundation Director and Manager as needed.
- Recruits and trains resident volunteers to assist in fund-raising, such as the ongoing transport and sale of in-kind donations, running of the Boutique and Haberdashery, as well as seasonal promotions and events.
- Assists with various employee development activities including donor-provided private scholarships, and other programs.
- Provide volunteer support and maintenance; plan volunteer recognition with parties and gifts.
- Expectation to be/become an Oregon notary public within four months of employment.
- Assist the Foundation Manager in maintaining donor data, including cash donations, pledges, estate gifts, and automobiles, by ensuring accurate recording of funds, donor interactions, biographical information, and acknowledgments and, as appropriate, reporting to Foundation stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 / hr DOE
About you:
- Valid Oregon Drivers license.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Interest in continuous improvement and problem-solving, including desire to learn new processes, concepts, software, etc.
- Able to use good judgement in assisting with whatever duties are necessary to the ongoing success and operation of the Foundation.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to ‘jump in and lend a hand’ whenever needed are essential.
