Job Description
- Provides support to both Land Acquisition and Land Development
- Performs as lead contact and coordinator for due diligence
- Assist Land Department with Budgets (development, feasibility)
- Prepares preliminary proformas and house price worksheets for
- prospective Land acquisitions
- Assist with developing and implementing procedures for Purchase
- Orders and payment processing in the Land Department
- Assist with developing reports and other tools for the management of the Land Department
- Prepares preliminary Competitive Market Analyses (CMA) report for Land Acquisition
- Prepares Asset Management Committee (AMC) package for acquisition/funding of new projects for Land Acquisition
- Prepares report for Land Development cost overruns and changes in
- Develops forecasting tools for Land Department
- Completes month-end financial reporting for land
- Assist with maintaining Community Schedules for new Community Openings in MS Project for Land Development
- Assist with project completion schedules with MS Project for Land Development
- Executes and achieves results with attention to detail
- Effective time management to meet project deadlines
- Communicates and summarizes complex information
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify problems
- Takes a lead role in resolving conflict
- Keeps current on technical information and tools
- Software knowledge and experience – New Star,
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project,
- Bachelor’s degree with preferred area of emphasis in Business, Finance or Civil Engineering.
- 4 + years of successful project management/expediting experience in residential or multi-family builder.
- Experience in scheduling, budgeting and creation of business strategies for each project.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word; familiar with
- SharePoint).
