Hilo/Forklift Operator
This job may require the physical ability to perform the duties assigned including but not limited to extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting. Continuous lifting to 75 pounds from the floor to an average waist-high platform, use of various hand tools and instruments, and extreme temperatures.
Requirements
Afternoons- (3pm-1am) Monday-Friday & (3pm-11pm) Saturday
Hilo/Forklift Operator
- Load billets
- Load ovens.
- Fill out oven charts and sales order numbers
- Load empty racks.
- Remove full racks from tracks.
- Retrieve spaces and racks throughout the plant.
- Unload billet semi-trucks.
- Direct the drivers on which scrap trailer to return.
- Able to fill out a bill of landings correctly.
- Keep the billet courtyard organized.
- Communicate with other plants when scrap trailers are needed.
- Other tasks assigned by the foreman or manager.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience with operating Hilo.
- Hilo certification preferred.
- Must be able to work continental shift. (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
- Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.
- Use of proper PPE (i.e: safety glasses, steel toe, ear plugs, gloves, etc.).
- Safety Rules and practices.
- On the Job Training:
- Daily Forklift Inspections Checklist
- Operating Forklift
- Proper removal and deposit of scrap materials
- Various Measuring tools (i.e: square, tape measure, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience with operating Hilo.
- Hilo certification preferred.
- Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
