Forklift Driver and Inventory Management

Your success will be measured by first understanding the movement of inventory followed by directing movement with foresight. We move material too much and need someone with skills that reduce inventory movement. Your vision for our company’s material movement and ability to keep inventory in order will be a key to your success. Daily responsibilities will be very hands-on.
JMC Wood Manufacturing, Inc. has been manufacturing high-quality laminated wood products for 50 years. JMC is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include managing the flow of incoming materials, manual lifting of products and supplies, safe and qualified operation of a forklift in addition to shipping and receiving.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Excellent math and communication skills;
- Must have at least 2+ years of dedicated forklift operations;
- Follow company policies, procedures and all requisite safety regulations;
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.;
- Able to bend, stoop, twist, and stand/sit for long periods of time;
- Knowledge of inventory tracking; and
- Overtime is occasionally required.

Overtime: Occasionally required, including weekend
