Volt is immediately hiring a Forklift Operator / Truck Driver for a local leading organization in downtown San Diego, CA.
WEEKLY PAY!!!
As a Forklift Operator Truck Driver you will:
- Pick/Pack/Sort/Stage inventory in warehouse
- Exceed production and safety standards
- Inspect orders/product and load trucks for shipment
- Unload trucks, receive and locate inventory in warehouse
- Scan/label inventory using RF scanner, build pallets for shipping
- Maintain/Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks
- Perform general labor as needed, moving product throughout warehouse
- Pick product from inventory, complete customer orders, stage product for loading
- Operate company vehicles between site locations in San Diego, CA
Requirements for consideration:
- Must have experience working with sit-down forklift
- Must have experience driving company vehicles
- Must have a clean DMV record and a current/valid license
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and consistently lift 40-50 pounds
- Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
We are hiring for the following shifts:
- 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 11pm, but must be able to train on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks
Pay is $25/hr. Positions are 15 months temp with the potential to be extended and hired on. It offers a foot in the door of a top and well known company that believes in career growth and offers stability.
