Forklift Operator - Flex Worker (Part-Time)

Essential Functions:

• Safely operate a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials within the manufacturing facility.

• Adhere to proper forklift operating procedures and safety protocols.

• Load and unload corrugated materials from trucks and storage areas using the forklift.

• Transport materials to and from production areas, ensuring timely delivery.

• Assist in the organization and management of inventory within the facility.

• Conduct regular counts and checks to ensure accurate inventory levels.

• Adjust to changes in material handling requirements based on production demands.

• Collaborate with other Forklift Operators and team members to optimize workflow.

• Communicate effectively with production supervisors, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate material movements.

• Report any issues or delays that may impact production schedules.

Education / Physical / Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.

• 1-3 years of experience in corrugated machinery operations

• Lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. assisted.

• Position requires repetitive motion of the hands and wrists.

• Can complete basic math skills and computer knowledge.

• Can read a tape measure in standard measurements. Metric measurements

What you Need:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. alone and 50 lbs. assisted
• Be at least 18 years of age
• 1 - 2 years experience driving a forklift
• Completion of an OSHA approved forklift certification course (After you start)
