Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight as directed by shift supervisor and/or Lead
- Assist with Material Handling able to handle cartons weighing up to 50 pounds
- Maintain an acceptable level of productivity
- Operates a Forklift to move and pick products for shipping/receiving activities throughout the warehouse
- Ensure complete product accuracy on each order/pallets while maintain safety operational standards.
- Maintain an acceptable level of productivity
- Receive daily work assignments from supervision and/or lead
- Verify shipping documents, shipping labels, and purchase orders
- Responsible for maintaining clean and safe work area
- Participation in ongoing training opportunities
***Please note inhouse forklift training and testing is required before operating our forklifts.***
Who we are looking for
- 1 year of Cherry Picker/Order Picker and/or forklift experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to focus on details, pertaining to shipping documents
- Basic math skills required
- High School diploma preferred
