Forklift Operator 1st shift

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment, including clamp trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and reach trucks. Your primary role will be to assist with materials handling and the movement of goods within our warehouse or distribution center.

Responsibilities: 

• Compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• Ability to work as a team member

• Ability to work overtime

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials

• Safely transport goods to designated areas within the warehouse

•  Stack and organize products in an efficient manner

•  Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning

•  Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

•  Assist with inventory management by accurately recording product movements

Qualifications:

•  Previous experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting

• Valid Forklift operator certification

• Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices

•  Familiarity with LP sit-down forklifts

•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets

•  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

•  Strong communication and teamwork abilities
