Job Description:
About the Role:
The forklift driver supply raw materials and packaging supplies to production area. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Become proficient in all aspects of warehouse department according to set standards, including monitoring and maintaining inventory and temperatures for products that are needed for production.
- Determine quantity and type of raw materials and packaging supplies needed per line according to the production schedule. Return product/materials to proper storage areas at the end of each production run.
- Keep proper inventory records as required by the Company. Properly label and store any leftover materials. Maintain ingredient storage areas and ensuring cleanliness.
- Fill out and initial all production documents associated with the area of responsibility Load finished goods onto shuttle for transportation to finished goods warehouse. Maintain a clean work area, sweeping the floor, wiping off tables, scales, and carts.
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 1st shift, which operates from 6:45a.m. to 3:00p.m. Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Possess a basic understanding of math, scale operations, weights, and measurements.
- Great communication skills, ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. The ability to read, write, and comprehend English language.
- Familiar with manufacturing Food Safety and Food Quality .
