Job Summary

• Coordinate the safe and productive daily functioning of the warehouse in the shipment of orders
• Enforce proper procedures regarding logging, storage, and loading or unloading of incoming inventory

• Provide supervision and guidance to warehouse workers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation and rework procedures are followed.
• Delegate and prioritize the picking of customer orders.

• Ensure all orders are shipped with the correct products, including all tinted orders.
• Coordinate all shipping and receiving functions with trucking company representatives and the Corporate Transportation Department.
• Release customer orders in the system "PGI".
• Ensure all shipping and receiving SOPs are followed.
• Key Holder Responsibilities.

• Participate in department virtual meetings. Take actions as necessary.
• Communicate with Sales regarding service reschedules.
• Communicate with stores/customers regarding delivery issues.
• Ensure all team members are following safety guidelines and SOP's.
• Monitor and respond to all email correspondence in a timely and effective manner.

• Monitor SAP transactions and take appropriate action.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational attainment equivalent to high school graduation
• Considerable stock control and warehousing experience

• Work in a lead or supervisory capacity

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Possess a clear understanding of supervisory principles and techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to organize and delegate orders to meet deadlines and to coordinate shipping of products on time
• Ability to demonstrate operation and use of forklift, deep reach, lift truck, pallet rider, shrink wrap machine, tint machine and paint shakers
• Ability to train warehouse center staff
• Possess extensive knowledge of warehouse equipment set-up operations and maintenance
