Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Construction Forman to manage and coordinated projects in the field. As a foreman for our company, you will hire crew members when needed and organize field tasks according to priorities. You will help meet project labor budgets, deadlines and deliver successful results. You will coordinate people, paperwork, production, and report directly to the Project Manager. You are the main field manager involving the projects assigned to and the central liaison between project management and the jobsites.
Responsibilities:
· Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
· Work with the project manager coordinating internal resources and third party vendors.
· Assess needs and ensure projects are delivered on time and with-in scope.
· Hire and staff project adequately. Scale the size of manpower to fit the needs of the jobsites.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Submit Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports. Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
· Implement, enforce, and guarantee all company policies (General and Safety) are being met.
· Attend meetings and trainings when required.
· Conduct trainings for crew members.
· Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
· Coordinate meetings and trainings for field personnel
· Assist in getting timesheets verified.
· Resolve problems when they arise
Required skills:
Bilingual in Spanish.
Proven experience as a foreman in the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Budgeting labor hours
Comfortable in multi tasking
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Problem-solving abilities
Team player
Resourceful
Strong work ethics.
Good physical condition and stamina
High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)
Computer skills (basics like emails, Microsoft office, etc.)
Experience in manage people
Required Certification:
OSHA 30 or higher
