Ford Pro Mobile Technician - First Shift

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Ford Pro Mobile Technician for First shift at Badger Ford Truck Center. This position requires that the applicant be self-motivated and a team-player, able to provide exceptional customer service for our clients (commercial and non commercial customers) in the Greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. The Ford Pro Mobile Technician is responsible for performing timely repair and service of all Ford Truck Center vehicles in accordance with established policies and procedures.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The compensation for this position starts at $20 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, the selected candidate will be eligible for company provided medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, and life insurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose all assigned service orders and accurately estimate the time and cost of repairs.
• Repair, replace, or adjust components as needed, following all safety requirements.
• Test-drive vehicles to confirm complete repairs were made and to verify each vehicle is functioning correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment.
• Ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain all required documents.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and cross-training as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED and/or relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic ability to read, interpret and work from exploded diagrams, drawings, wiring schematics, and technical bulletins.
• Basic knowledge of and experience with working on Ford gas and diesel engines.
• Working knowledge of and experience with automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability and flexibility to work both independently and within a team environment.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

• Flexibility:
  • Tech will be Bending, Squatting, and Laying on the Ground
  • Physical stature that allows Under Vehicle services to be performed
• Easily and repetitively standing from a prone position
• Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions
• Physical strength to lift a tire onto the vehicle from a crouching position.
  • Some Mobile Service Van repairs may necessitate the ability to lift between 75 and 100 pounds
