Force Rotation Analyst

This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for advising the Chief, Force Rotation Branch on all current operational matters that impact the development of sourcing recommendations for the fiscal year rotational plan.Qualifications: You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:

• Executing Global Force Management responsibilities including developing, submitting and tracking either rotational or emergent deployment requirements.
• Working with or interpreting force deployment orders published in the Global Force Management Allocation Plan.
• Preparing written Flag/General Officer level briefings for presentation and decision.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
