GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Member of the Glen Copack crew. Works with other staff preparing food and equipment for daily productions. Hours vary depending on current contractual obligations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to lift to 50 pounds without restrictions. hygienic and sanitation techniques. Must be able to measure and weight ingredients. Must be able to prepare ingredients per instructions from supervisor. Must be able to work for long periods of time, on your feet, with minimal breaks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as a team to complete jobs in a timely manner. Must be able to work independently without supervision.
- Must be flexible in work assignments through day and production schedule.
- Must be able to pass Glen Copack competency certification and continually adhere to GMP for food industry requirements.
- Follow Occupational Safety & Health Administration and other regulatory agency procedures and guidelines as required.
- Adheres to The Arc Chemung-Schuyler program policies and procedures.
- Ensure agency safety policies are followed and report any concerns to your supervisor immediately.
- Attend agency and outside trainings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:- Must be able to tolerate the stresses associated with working in a manufacturing setting with moving and stationary equipment in operation
- Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, and frequently required to use hand and fingers
