Job Description:

As a Kosher Food Specialist, you'll ensure strict adherence to Kosher dietary laws and standards in all food products and processes. You'll maintain our reputation for authentic Kosher options.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect all food products, ingredients, and processes for Kosher compliance.
• Source Kosher-certified ingredients and products from suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with Kosher certification agencies and stay updated on regulations.
• Train kitchen staff on Kosher food handling practices.
• Implement and enforce Kosher food preparation guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits of kitchen facilities for compliance.
• Address Kosher-related inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Stay informed about Kosher industry trends.
• Assist in developing new Kosher menu items.
• Maintain accurate Kosher-related documentation.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of Kosher dietary laws.
• Experience in a Kosher kitchen or food production preferred.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
