Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will act as an ambassador and support the mission of our hospital by optimizing the quality of life of our patients. Your duties will also include (but not limited to): 

• You will supervise and coordinate duties for daily food service operations throughout the Food and Nutrition Services Department. 
• You will schedule employees, employee performance evaluations, and direct employee supervision. 
• You will be ensuring HACCP/Sanitation Standards 
• You will ensure timely and accurate meal services for Patients and Cafeteria customers

• Comfortable working with email, electronic records, telephone systems, and various computer programs 

 Qualifications: 

• A Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential is preferred. 
• Safe Serve Certification ispreferredor attained within 90 days of hire. 
• Completion of CDM approved coursework is preferred 
• Minimum two years of previous healthcare food service experience 
• Proficient in the operation of Food Service/institutional equipment
