Our teachers are trained in the Early Childhood Education field.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves in food preparation, delivering, dishwashing and sanitization functions for Early Learning Center program
- Prepares and cooks USDA meals and snacks
- Measures, prepares, and serves meals to meet special diet requirements
- Performs cleaning duties; washes dishes and utensils; walls and counters in kitchen, wipes down shelves, microwave and other storage areas.
- Operates standard kitchen appliances and equipment such as crock pots, toaster, dishwasher, etc.
- Receives food from vendors
- Rotates and inventories food & supplies weekly
- Carefully monitors meals for allergens and provides substitutions for children with allergies and intolerances
- Use inventory systems to assist with food purchases
- Perform other related duties as required
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of or eligible for a food handler permit
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of kitchen
- Experience in the food industry
